Duties and description

Original English description
  • Grade and sort commodities such as wheat, soyhull, crimped corn, peanut hull according to factors such as protein content, moisture, appearance, feel, smell, and quality; Discard inferior or defective products or foreign matter; Weigh products or estimate their weight to calculate amounts needed; Record grade or identification numbers on tags; Blend commodities and additives in prescribed portions to prepare for consumption; Place blends in containers according to grade and mark grades on containers; Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs such as removing snow and lifting containers. Must speak and understand English.

Be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, humidity, wind, cold. Lift and carry supplies. Follow instructions. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license within 30 days following hire and obtain clean driving record to be able to operate company vehicle. Lift up to 75 lbs.
