Duties and description

Original English description
  • Perform winter farm maintenance work. Fix and repair farm structures. Clean and winterize farming equipment, grain elevators and farming facility. Monitor grain dryer. Load and unload crops using conveyors or transfer augers. Weigh crop filled containers and record weights and other identifying information. Participate in the post harvest inspection and grading of grain. Remove snow from farm property. Manage grain stores. Haul agricultural commodities from storage facilities to local markets utilizing grain trucks.
