Duties and description
Original English description
- Operate tractors, hay equipment, tillage equipment, and other agricultural machinery to prepare fields, plant, cultivate, cut, rake, bale, load, transport, and store hay. Attach and adjust agricultural implements and operate equipment used for brush and weed control, spraying, and maintaining fields and pastures. Operate farm equipment to assist with feeding, moving, and handling cattle and transporting feed and other agricultural materials. Perform general cattle care, including feeding, watering, and assisting with livestock handling. Clear brush and debris from existing fence lines, pastures, and creek bottoms; trim trees and operate chainsaws and other tools as needed. Maintain and repair existing fences, gates, barns, and other agricultural facilities. Clean and maintain farm equipment and work areas. Inspect, service, and perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on tractors, hay equipment, tillage equipment, and other agricultural machinery. Perform painting and occasional minor welding repairs to existing farm equipment and agricultural structures as needed.
