Duties and description

Original English description
  • Prepare and maintain ornamental crops in greenhouses and/or nurseries by performing tasks such as seeding, transplanting, pruning, watering, irrigating, fertilizing, and other crop care activities.
  • Harvest, sort, label, package, and prepare ornamental plants for shipping and sale.
  • Crops include cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, chilis, 4-pack herbs (a combination of oregano, basil, rosemary, thyme, mint, cilantro, chives, dill, parsley, sage), geraniums, eggplants, jalapeños, ferns,
  • Clean and maintain production areas, greenhouses, workstations, and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Operate greenhouse machinery, tools, and equipment, as required, following established safety procedures.
  • Perform other general greenhouse production duties as assigned.
