Duties and description
Original English description
- Maintain, repair and overhaul farm machinery and vehicles, such as tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems. Dismantle defective machines for repair, using hand tools. Record details of repairs made and parts used. Reassemble machines and equipment following repair, testing operation and making adjustments, as necessary. Clean and lubricate parts. Test and replace electrical components and wiring, using test meters, soldering equipment, and hand tools. Tune or overhaul engines. Examine and listen to equipment to locate and diagnose malfunctions. Repair or replace defective parts, using hand tools, milling and woodworking machines, lathes, welding equipment, grinders, or saws. Repair bent or torn sheet metal.
- Employees will be provided with adequate breaks, including meal and rest periods, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local law, during the course of each workday. Drivers in the U.S. must read and speak English well enough to understand traffic signs, talk with the public, respond to official questions, and fill out work records under 49 CFR 391.11(b)(2).

Minimum of 3 months of related experience is required. Worker must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds and will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Certain roles may require a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. Wage rate may increase based on verifiable experience.
