Duties and description
Original English description
- Employees will operate equipment with towed feeder wagon implements designated for feeding and bedding cattle.
- They will assist with calving the herd and caring for new borns.
- They will check pens for water, cleanliness, and health conditions of the animals.
- They will grind feed, vaccinate, brand, and tag the ears of the animals.
- Routine maintenance will need to be done on machinery, grounds, and structures.
- - Employees must speak, read, write and understand the English language for record-keeping and safety reasons.
- - Cell phones are limited to business calls only. No Texting.
- - No smoking or drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours.
- - Must have a current driver's license or be capable of obtaining one in 60 days.
- - Workers must have three months of tractor-driving experience and cattle experience with computerized monitors.
