Duties and description
Original English description
- SEASONAL WORK (Deceber 16, 2026 – February 14, 2027)
- WINTER OPERATIONS
- Feed, water, monitor, move and care for cattle. Load, haul and distribute livestock feed. Receive, sort, load and unload cattle and assist with cattle shipping and movement.
- Maintain cattle pens, bedding, feeding areas and livestock watering systems. Remove snow and ice where necessary to maintain agricultural access to cattle, feed, water, livestock facilities, equipment and livestock loading areas.
- Prepare livestock facilities and equipment for the approaching calving season. Perform minor maintenance of livestock equipment, fences, gates and water systems when incidental to livestock operations.
- Work is performed outdoors during winter conditions, including freezing temperatures, snow and ice.

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Employer shall Provide Necessary Training to worker. Workers Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers' expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Repetitive movements is required.
