Duties and description
- Duties may include: Dismantle defective machines for repair, using hand tools. Reassemble machines and equipment following repair, testing operation and making adjustments, as necessary. Test and replace electrical components and wiring, using test meters, soldering equipment, and hand tools. Tune or overhaul engines. Record details of repairs made and parts used & other related Farm Equipment Mechanic activities as per SOC/OES 49-3041 (onetonline.org).
- Possible weekend/holiday work.
- The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate. See attached Addendum C.
