Duties and description
- Perform seasonal duties like: Moving cattle from summer pasture in October. Fall cattle work/pregnancy checking. Weaning. Processing calves. Feeding cattle. Working and vaccinating cattle. Maintaining feed equipment. Inspect livestock for illness/injuries. Maintaining winter grazing fences. Preparing ranch barns & grounds for freeze. Opening frozen water tanks & springs. Snow removal. Calving begins in March & finishes the end of April. Cleaning barns & pens. Preparing haying equipment. Fencing summer pastures. Branding cattle. Drive to town to pickup cattle supplies. Moving cattle to summer pasture end of May.
- Farming with: Beef Cattle. No CDL Required and no commercial truck driving required.
