Duties and description

Original English description
  • Job duties include the following but are not limited to:
  • Performing of general livestock tasks: feeding, watering, herding, castrating, branding, weighing, catching and loading animals.
  • Examining animals to detect diseases and injuries - assisting in birthing, administering medications, vaccinations, and or insecticides.
  • Maintaining winter animal housing areas - using diggers, shovels and other equipment needed.
  • Weighing trucks.
  • Assist with maintenance of grain bins and general maintenance of buildings, using lawn mower, weed cutter, small outdoor equipment, and hand tools.
  • Maintaining records, as required by inhouse management.
