Bunch Beet 9s: $1.20 per crate. Estimated hourly wage equivalent is $15.60 or 13 crates per hour. $16.23 per hour guaranteed.
Duties and description
Original English description
- Harvest and pack vegetables in the field. Load crates onto trucks in the field. Wash, grade, and pack vegetables in the packinghouse. Use power equipment including, but not limited to: forklifts, conveyor belts, and cooling equipment/refrigeration units. Operate equipment safely, with or without direction. Drive forklift to load trucks and move products in packinghouse. Weed crops. Lay pipes for irrigation.
- Drive field trucks to field to be loaded with crates and unloaded at the packinghouse. Must have a valid driver license and be approved by employer insurance company to drive. Must maintain valid driver license and approval by employer insurance company to drive while hired in a driving position.
- Lay pipes for irrigation: Place irrigation pipes in fields to start irrigation and pick up irrigation pipes out of field when watering is complete for each field.
- Must wear assigned personal protective equipment when required.
- Workers with a clean driving record and able to obtain an insurable driver's license may be required to drive company vehicles.
- Persons seeking employment in this position must be available for the entire period requested by the employer.
