Duties and description

Original English description
  • Duties include driving and operating farm machinery such as tractors and combines to perform farm activities such as planting, cultivation, harvesting of crops wheat & beans. Workers will drive tractors installed with GPS. Operate designated towing equipment, drills, disks, and drags to furrow and prepare the soil, seed and fertilize. They will transport materials, supplies or crops from fields or bin storage to designated locations of local elevators. Routine maintenance will be done on all equipment & grounds. Workers must be able to work independently after given instructions and must be team players when needed.
  • Requirements:
  • - Employees have valid driver’s license or obtain one in 60 days.
  • - Cell phone usage is limited to business-related calls only.
  • - NO TEXTING.
  • - No smoking in equipment, vehicles, housing or grounds.
  • - No drinking alcoholic beverages during working hours and otherwise discouraged.
  • - Must be able to read, understand and speak English for record keeping and safety reasons.
  • - No Educational level required.
  • - Less than three months experience with operating farm machinery"

Employees must have a valid drivers license or capable of obtaining one in 60 days. Cell phone usage is limited to business related calls of the operation only. NO TEXTING. No smoking in equipment, vehicles, fields or housing units. Drinking alcoholic beverages is prohibited during working hours and otherwise discouraged. No Educational level required. Strong fencing back ground. Must have three months tractor driving with towed implements. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
