Duties and description

Original English description
  • Worker will be performing job duties related to SOC 45-2092, job duties include but are not limited to: Repair, clean, and
  • maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment such as planters, tractors, and other implements .
  • Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Maintain inventory and
  • organize supplies by loading and unloading inventory such as farm supplies, seed, fertilizer, equipment, and materials as
  • required. Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures. Assist in the management and preservation of wildlife
  • habitat on the farm during the migration of waterfowl and deer such as: maintaining wire; removing rubble; servicing
  • wetlands; controlling weed pressure; inspect and record wildlife population; maintain adequate levels in ponds and
  • wetland reserve program; Perform manual labor necessary to develop, maintain, or protect areas such as forested areas,
  • woodlands, wetlands. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
  • to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and the team. Fill semi-trucks with hopper bottom trailers; drive and
  • deliver grain to terminals and ports using semi-trucks. Must be able to speak and understand English.

3 months of experience

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
