Duties and description

Original English description
  • Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery such as control levers to raise and lower bucket, operate machines using joystick; Prep and clean new bee yards using track machine, truck and Bobcat; Operate large farm equipment for loading and unloading trucks, place hives in fields; load and move hives ; Build and repair boxes, pallets, and other beekeeping equipment; All duties require mechanical knowledge and ability to operate machinery listed above. Must speak and understand English.

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience with references required as a beekeeper. May not have bee, pollen or honey-related allergies. Must be able to obtain a drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
