Duties and description
- Workers will perform agricultural labor on an organic farm growing peanuts and a variety of organic crops. Workers will dig peanuts, shake and windrow peanut plants, allow peanuts to dry and cure, gather cured peanuts, clean peanuts, remove soil and foreign material, and grade, sort, or classify peanuts and other agricultural products by size, weight, color, moisture, quality, condition, defects, and purchaser requirements. Workers will prepare product for storage, shipment, or sale. Workers will gather manure from livestock facilities, load, haul, dump, and spread manure on fields as fertilizer to prepare fields for spring tillage and organic crop production.
