Duties and description
Original English description
- Hand harvest and collect cotton boll samples, collection of soy plants, and roguing soy plants. Must be able to work long hours - majority of the workday is spent on one's feet where conditions will be hot and humid. Hours and days of work may vary due to weather conditions. Must be able to lift 80 lbs. to shoulder height repetitively throughout the workday and able to lift and carry 80 lbs. Processing and fiber testing boll samples. General Maintenance of the site including cleaning, sweeping, cleaning vehicles and other rolling equipment, grounds care. General Field Maintenance including manually removing weeds by hand/garden tool. All workers may be required to submit to random drug tests at the discretion of the employer. Use of personal cell phone or other personal electronic device during working hours strictly prohibited except for work-related calls or emergencies and violation may result in immediate termination.
