Duties and description
- 1. Will be a Delimber Operator.
- 2. Worker must operate a track or tire mounted mechanical delimber.
- 3. Must be able to identify trees according to species and sort them into designated piles.
- 4. Retrieve unlimbed trees from a roadside yard, delimbs them, and places them in an orderly manner for easy retrieval by the loading crane.
- 5. Must have the ability to work as a three-member team and maintain productivity as a team. Must be able to operate a carrier vehicle.
- 6. Must perform minor maintenance and repairs on equipment daily.
- 7. Must be in good physical condition and be able to work in adverse weather conditions.
- 8. Must have six months of referenced, paid production experience as a delimber operator.
- 9. Must abide by landowner, OSHA, and employer, regulations.
