Row Crop Job Description: This job requires Machine harvest of bulk radish, carrots, and beets; hand harvest vegetables; irrigation, planting, tractor/mechanical maintenance, crop preparation, crop protection, crop transport, machinery maintenance and tear down sanitation of grounds/facilities by the worker. Workers can also: 1.Drive tractors 2.Spray and mix chemicals and fertilizers 3.Operate trucks to carry farm equipment, crops and farmworkers 4.Perform general repair of agricultural equipment. 5.Pack crops into containers. Field Worker will do the following tasks: Plant transplants and/or seeds Harvest a variety of produce Lift and Stack produce on trucks for transport to main farm Perform weeding as needed Follow instructions from Field Supervisors Keep production levels at crew rates Work with irrigation systems Perform Manual labor as needed Work Safely following procedures and instructions Follow instructions regarding hygiene and food safety.
