- The employer is seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to assist with the harvest season (including pre and post-harvest). Workers will perform farming, harvesting and packing activities of crops such as squash, peppers (including bell pepper and specialty pepper), cucumber, eggplant, tomatoes, corn, tomatillos, and zucchini. Duties include field preparation, laying plastic, planting, tying, pruning, weeding, field cleanup, irrigation setup and maintenance, and other farm maintenance and related field support. Duties also include harvesting, packing in the field or shed/packinghouse located on the farm, sorting, handling, and other related post-harvest work. Properly assigned workers may also operate farm equipment. Duties may also include other general farm labor. Workers should follow safety and farm instructions. This job will be done under varying extreme outdoor weather conditions such as heat, high humidity, direct sunlight, cold weather, possible rain, wind, and exposure to pollen, soil, mud, dust and other natural elements. Repetitive physical conditions such as prolonged walking, standing, heavy bending, stooping, reaching and lifting will be involved on a regular basis.

Workers must be dependable and punctual and have the ability to stand, bend, and work for long periods outdoors. They must pay attention to detail and quality. Workers must adhere to all safety rules as instructed by supervisors and practice safety in all aspects of work.
