Heavy and Tractor-trailer Truck Drivers

Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in Soc Code 53-3032 Heavy Tractor and Trailer Truck Drive for delivering grain to elevators such as: Drive semi-trailer combination to deliver grain to market ports; Inspect loads to ensure that cargo is secure; Maneuver into loading and unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned; Drive to weigh stations before and after loading and along routes in compliance with state regulations; Plan or adjust routes based on changing winter conditions such as ice, sleet, snow; Perform safety checks and inspections as well as related repairs; Load and unload grain trucks. The worker is required to be able to speak and understand English.
