The pre-season maintenance tasks will be done to machinery during the months when farming duties have halted and the machinery is not in use. List of equipment: John Deere 680 Combines; Versatile 485 4x4 tractors; 9570 John Deere 4x4 Tractor; 9630 John Deere Tractor; 9882 New Holland 4x4 Tractor; 8335 John Deere Front Wheel Assist Tractor; 8050 New Holland Front Wheel Assist Tractor; 2210 New Holland Tractor; 2010 - 2015 Freightliner Trucks with 34' Trailer; 1984 International Truck; 12-row Art's Way Sugarbeet Harvester; 12-row Art's Way Sugarbeet Defoliators. All the machines and equipment will go through a thorough inspection, service, and repair process. Each machine will have a manufacturer's annual maintenance procedure that needs to be followed to ensure proper operation of the equipment during the work season. This seasonal post-harvest work process will include the disassembly and reassembly of major components for replacement of bearings, lubricants, filters, parts, worn components, surfacing and welding of cracks. Cleaning of each machine must be done prior to any maintenance work. The work will include heavy lifting of machine parts and holding them in place during reassembly. The worker must be able to handle complex tasks that require logical thought, care, paying attention to details. Drive to town to pick up mechanical supplies. No CDL Required and no commercial truck driving required.
