Farm Equipment Mechanic & Service Technician

Job duties include but are not limited to milling and grinding grain; monitoring the milling process and adjusting parameters as needed to maintain consistent quality; adjusting milling equipment settings (e.g., speed, feed rate, grinding medium) to account for changes in grain characteristics and other variables; loading and hauling grain from storage to market; winterizing all farm equipment and vehicles for which it is required; overhauling farm machinery and vehicles; dismantling defective machines; and reassembling machines and equipment. Job will also require snow and ice removal from the equipment yard. During the winter period, workers will perform livestock care duties such as cleaning pens, removing ice from water sources, and monitoring livestock for signs of sickness or injury while animals are housed in enclosed spaces. The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely at the discretion of the employer. Must speak and understand English.
