• We need a sseasonal employee to assist with our crop production Employee will need to assist with all job duties assigned related to growing these crops. The seasonal agricultural worker will perform duties primarily related to the production of corn, wheat, soybeans, and peanuts, with limited duties involving horses. Crop production duties include preparing fields for planting; attaching farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, planters, and harvesters to tractors using bolts and hand tools; and operating tractors, planters, sprayers, seed drills, manure spreaders, combines, irrigation equipment, and other agricultural machinery. Duties will include planting, cultivating, weeding, spraying, fertilizing, and harvesting crops; applying fertilizer and pesticide solutions using hand sprayers to control insects, fungus, weeds, and plant diseases; and irrigating crops using portable pipe or ditch irrigation systems. The worker will maintain irrigation ditches, pipes, pumps, and related equipment; observe and listen to machinery during operation to identify malfunctions; inspect, adjust, and perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on farm machinery and equipment; and perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on irrigation systems and related components. Limited horse-related duties may include feeding, watering, checking horses for general health or injury, and maintaining clean and safe areas for the horses. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer’s discretion
