Atividades e descrição
- Daily feeding and watering of ewes, lambs, and rams. Daily bottle feeding for abandoned lambs. Construct, clean and maintain lambing pens & mineral tubs, as well as secondary drinkers. Break ice in water troughs. Assist ewes that encounter difficulties while lambing. Ensure lambs are received by mothers during the 1st 48 hours, and inspect 3-4 times daily for 21 days. Record birth weights, tag and band as needed. Administer medicines and vaccinations to ewes and lambs as necessary. Move sheep between pens and fields with pickup and stock trailer or atv for rotational grazing. Repair and build both electrified, and non-electrified fences as necessary to contain sheep. Must speak and understand English.
