Livestock Worker

Job requires tending to livestock in the forms of feeding, examining, branding/tagging, loading, and shipping cattle; operating various equipment used specifically for livestock care including, but not limited to, small tractors, backhoes, front loaders, mowers, balers, ATVs, and trucks with gooseneck cattle trailers connected. Employees will perform manual duties including but not limited to feeding and providing water for livestock daily, lifting bales of hay and sacks of feed to put in feeders, digging holes as needed for property borders, maintaining property borders, maintaining ditches and pastures, moving and maintaining portable corrals, checking livestock, assisting with vet visits, assisting with medication administration, and performing general maintenance on equipment used for livestock duties. There are few typical days and workers may be required to change duties and/or engage in various general functions. The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer.
