Supervise, manage and coordinate all aspects of pecan harvest. Must have full working knowledge of savage harvesting equipment, and the associated cleaning of equipment necessary to prepare the pecans for sale. Must have experience with pecans, including understanding the physiology of the pecans and the actions needed to ensure a fast and successful harvest. Must have knowledge of the pecan market in order to facilitate the sale of the pecans. Must have established contacts in the pecan market place to use as an outlet for harvested pecans. Must have working knowledge of various varieties, and be able to recognize certain varieties when examining large quantities of pecans. Must have working knowledge of post harvest activities necessary to prepare the orchard for the following year.
Farming with: pecans. No CDL Required and no commercial truck driving required.
