Agricultural Equipment Operators

Workers will perform assigned duties as instructed by their supervisor. Duties may vary from time-to-time, and may include all of the following job specifications:
Harvest and pack vegetables in the field. Load crates onto trucks in the field. Wash, grade, and pack vegetables in the packinghouse. Use power equipment including, but not limited to: forklifts, conveyor belts, and cooling equipment/refrigeration units. Operate equipment safely, with or without direction. Drive forklift to load trucks and move products in packinghouse. Weed crops. Lay pipes for irrigation.
Drive field trucks to field to be loaded with crates and unloaded at the packinghouse. Must have a valid driver license and be approved by employer insurance company to drive. Must maintain valid driver license and approval by employer insurance company to drive while hired in a driving position.
Lay pipes for irrigation: Place irrigation pipes in fields to start irrigation and pick up irrigation pipes out of field when watering is complete for each field.
Must wear assigned personal protective equipment when required.
Workers with a clean driving record and able to obtain an insurable driver's license may be required to drive company vehicles.
Persons seeking employment in this position must be available for the entire period requested by the employer.
