Workers will perform assigned duties as instructed by their supervisor. Duties may vary from time-to-time, and may include all of the following job specifications:
Drives crew from employer-provided housing to each field to harvest or weed crops. Reports to the office to receive work assignments twice a day (morning and afternoon). Communicates the work assignments to other farm workers, as directed by the Supervisor. Assists with documenting the quantity of boxes and weeding hours of each person in their van to submit daily. Evaluates the quality of vegetables harvested. Every employee is expected to help weed crops. Fills drinking water and hand washing water tanks twice a day. Must have a valid driver license and be approved by employer insurance company to drive. Must maintain valid driver license and approval by employer insurance company to drive while hired in a driving position. Must have experience driving 15 passenger van. Must speak English. Bilingual is preferred. Must be able to pass a criminal background check for all new hires.
