• Workers must be able to: Dismantle machines used on agricultural packing shed lines and remove parts for repair using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work. Adjust, maintain, and repair equipment to ensure proper operation and efficiency. Install replacement parts according to production specifications. Lubricate equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning. Inspect mechanical equipment used on agricultural packing shed lines to identify damage, defects, or wear. Clean and maintain equipment, parts, and tools. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical components of equipment used in agricultural packing shed operations. Perform preventative maintenance including servicing, calibrating, regulating, and testing machinery. Maintain inventories of materials, parts, and equipment. Record maintenance and repair activities and follow all company safety procedures. Related maintenance duties may be assigned. Work is performed in an agricultural packing facility. Being on one’s feet for long time periods is required. Frequent walking, stooping, bending, crouching, and kneeling is required. Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds is required. Frequent turning, pushing, and pulling is required. Performing general physical activities includes doing activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials. Dexterity to use and manipulate tools and parts is required. Vision, focus, and cognitive ability to accomplish the functions above is required.
