Maintain heated watering system and operating snow removal equipment in order to operate feed wagons; mix feed and additives, fills feed troughs with feed and water for livestock and remove ice; weigh cattle and move to the appropriate pens; examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; vaccinate animals by placing vaccine in drinking water or feed using syringes and hypodermic needles; spray livestock with insecticide; confine livestock in stalls washes and clip them to prepare them for calving and assists veterinarian in delivery of offspring; feed cattle; assist with preparing, framing, maintaining, and repairing cattle holding facilities; sort cattle to be taken to market; driving pickup to obtain parts and supplies; daily repairs and maintenance to equipment, machinery, and fences. Must speak and understand English. Approximate staggered entry: 5 workers to begin Oct 2 and 12 workers to begin Feb 10.
