We need seasonal help from October until July, which is the only time we have cattle/calves in the feed yard. We feed our own calves. Duties will be assisting with animal husbandry, catching, loading animals, and monitoring feed bunks. Employees must have calving skills. Doing daily duties as well as cleaning, maintaining, and performing maintenance on tractors and feeding equipment. Will operate tractors and equipment to assist in feeding of cattle. Must have previous experience mowing and baling hay with prior experience operation a John Deere Baler. Must have experience with irrigation systems and diesel engines. Good knowledge of operating John Deere Equipment & Feed Wagon operation. Experience in Animal Husbandry. (100% of the job duties are 45-2093) The employer, at its sole discretion, grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience.
