We need a seasonal employee to assist with our corn, soybeans production season. Employee will need to assist with all job duties assigned related to growing these crops. We are seeking employees to perform a wide range of duties supporting crop production and transportation operations. Responsibilities include preparing fields for planting; attaching and operating farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, harvesters, planters, seed drills, manure spreaders, combines, and irrigation equipment; and performing planting, cultivating, fertilizing, spraying, and harvesting activities. Employees will load and unload crops and materials using conveyors, forklifts, augers, and hand tools; monitor equipment during operation to detect malfunctions; and perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery. Additional responsibilities include inspecting, maintaining, and repairing farm infrastructure such as fences, buildings, and equipment. The role also requires operating heavy trucks, including tractor-trailers, to transport crops, and supplies; planning and adjusting routes using navigation tools; inspecting and maintaining vehicles; securing and verifying cargo; coupling and uncoupling trailers; and safely maneuvering trucks for loading and unloading while complying with safety and transportation regulations.
