Agricultural Equipment Operator

We are seeking a seasonal employee to assist with corn and soybean crop production. Responsibilities include performing all assigned duties related to crop cultivation, including preparing fields for planting; attaching and operating farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, harvesters, planters, seed drills, manure spreaders, combines, irrigation equipment, and other machinery; and participating in planting, weeding, spraying, fertilizing, cultivating, and harvesting activities. The role also involves applying fertilizers and pesticides using appropriate equipment; loading and unloading crops and materials manually or with conveyors, forklifts, augers, or hand tools; monitoring machinery during operation to detect malfunctions; driving farm semi-trucks to transport crops, supplies, and equipment; and inspecting, adjusting, and performing routine maintenance and repairs on machinery. Employees are also responsible for maintaining accurate agricultural records as required. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer’s discretion, Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.
