Workers will be required to place seed oysters in floating cages, work the oysters, monitor the growth of the oysters, cleaning and maintaining the cages, harvesting on the water, daily maintenance to the gear and equipment, cleaning the shop areas and keeping it free of debris, keeping the house and yard free of debris. Workers will be exposed to water and water dangers such as snakes, alligators, etc. Workers must be able to perform all duties described as well as any general labor duties that may arise. Drug tests may be performed post hire at no cost to the work to ensure worker safety and keep in compliance with workers compensation guidelines. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination. All work and safety rules must be followed.
