Atividades e descrição

• Sort and package and warehouse corn seed produced by this farm. Keep work area clean.
• Seasonal Packaging Operators work closely with the Packaging Supervisor and Plant Operations
• Manager to ensure that seed packages meet customer requirements. Responsibilities include:
• Performing work activities safely.
• Lifting and stacking materials up to 68 lbs for extended periods of time
• * Standing to fill and close packaged product for extended periods of time.
• * Successfully pass the forklift training and receive an operator's certificate.
• Operating bagging equipment according to instructions
• ° Ensuring that bag labels are accurate, neat, legible and professional in appearance
• Application of appropriate tags and/or labels to seed packages
• *Thorough cleaning of all equipment in order to maintain product integrity;
• * Ensuring that seed pallets are neatly stacked and securely wrapped from packaging line; deliver finished seed pallets or boxes to the warehouse.
• * Prepare and clean (if needed) packaging materials to be used according to customer
• specifications. This would include boxes and paper bags.
• Maintaining a neat, clean, and organized work area
• Seasonal Rebag Operators work closely with the Rebag Supervisor to meet customer quality and packaging requirements during repackaging processes. Responsibilities include:
• * Performing work activities safely.
• * Lifting and stacking materials up to 68 lbs for extended periods of time
• * Standing to fill and close packaged product for extended periods of time.
• * Successfully pass the forklift training and receive an operator's certificate.
• * Operating bagging equipment according to instructions
• * Ensuring that bag labels are accurate, neat, legible and professional in appearance
• * Application of appropriate tags and/or labels to seed packages

• * Successfully pass the forklift training and receive an operator's certificate.
• * Maintaining a neat, clean, and organized work area
