Agricultural Equipment Operators

Work is approximately Monday-Friday 4:00am to 2:00pm with a 30 minute unpaid meal break or 2:00pm to 12:00 am with a 30 minute unpaid meal break (each worker will work only one shift per day). Majority of duties will be to operate farm vehicles/equipment like combines, harvesters, tractors and similar agricultural equipment. Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment. Workers may also perform duties like harvesting and manual labor incidental to farming operations. Manual labor to cut sugarcane from its growing position on farm, and gather sugarcane after it is cut. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials. All tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned are provided to the worker, without charge or deposit. Hours may fluctuate due to weather conditions or mechanical breakdowns but will not reduce the 3/4 guarantee over the life of the contract. Possibility of work breakdown will not reduce workers guarantee over the life of the contract.
