• Function tractors, skid steers, loaders, augers, and conveyers for unloading grain trucks into storage facilities at harvest; manually dump grain such as wheat, canola, soybean, sunflower, corn, flax from grain trucks and semis with hopper bottom trailers during harvest; load outbound trucks with grain; assist with loading of trains by flipping lids, checking bottoms, and running locomotive; driving vehicle to obtain parts and supplies; daily repairs and maintenance to equipment and machinery. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: attach/detach implements; be able to handle working in high humidity; clean work areas; guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines; hand pick and manually grade crops; load and unload materials and commodities; maintain grounds and landscaping; participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, knives, wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools; weigh containers and record weights and identifying information; work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, forklift, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc., skid steers, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: canola, corn, sunflowers, wheat, soybeans, flax, barley. Must speak and understand English.
