Drive and control equipment to support agricultural activities such as ginning; Load and unload cotton in the field; Drive straight truck to haul modules from fields to gin yard; Load cotton onto module feeder; Drive truck with trailer to haul bales from gin yard to storage; Adjust, repair, and service trucks; Operate stationary equipment such as bale press to perform post-harvest tasks such as ginning; Record weights and other identifying information including weight of bale and seed; Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery; Guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines; Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions; Adjust, repair, and service machinery and notify supervisors of malfunctions; Daily upkeep and cleaning of equipment while ginning; During times of peak need and depending on weather or crop conditions, hours requested may increase to up to 12 hours per day and employer may run day/night shifts; work at night may be requested; employer may request but cannot require workers to work on their Sabbath.
