Agricultural Equipment Operator/CDL Class A Driver

Workers will operate Class A commercial motor vehicles to transport harvested fruit, empty bins, pallets, and other agricultural materials between orchards, packing facilities, storage locations, and designated delivery sites. Workers must possess and maintain a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and safely perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with applicable regulations. In addition to driving duties, workers will prune and trim fruit trees using hand and power tools to maintain tree health, productivity, and proper orchard structure. Workers will also load and unload bins and equipment, assist with general orchard maintenance, and perform other duties related to the production and handling of fruit as assigned. All work must be performed following established safety procedures and employer instructions. The worker must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.
