Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2091 Agriculture Equipment operators such as: Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as combine, sprayer, planter, tillage tool to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as wheat, soybeans, corn, canola, sunflowers; Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions. Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Load agricultural products into trailers and grain carts without over or underfilling bed or trailer to be delivered to storage facilities; Clean, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Regulate conditions; Haul and spread inputs, fertilizer, and other materials to condition soil; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery. Must speak and understand English.
