Atividades e descrição
- Duties may include: Assist with daily farm functions including but not limited to the following: operate various equipment/farm trucks/farm tractors for planting, spraying and harvesting of crops. Clean/maintain machinery and equipment. Grain handling, hauling farm commodities. Maintain farm grounds/mow. Precondition and maintain cattle: Monitor birthing of baby calves, hay all cattle, haul water to cattle, mix feed, monitor health, vaccinate. Operate feed truck/pay loader. Clean pens. Maintain fence. Manure hauling. May haul cattle to market.
- Crops: corn, soybeans, wheat, triticale, alfalfa, oats, sorghum & other related Ag Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org).
- Possible weekend/holiday work.
- The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate.
