The crops on which workers will work are vegetables, including lettuce, spinach, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, and onions. Workers will: perform manual agricultural tasks; assist with harvesting activities; maintain inventory of materials, such as PPE, water, and supplies for coworkers; maintain operational records; operate vehicles used on the farm, including passenger vehicles for incidental farm use; advise others on farming operations and equipment; monitor the work of seasonal help; clean work areas and maintain grounds, and other tasks and duties under SOC Code 45-2092. Related duties may be assigned. Work is performed outdoors in highly varied weather conditions. Frequent walking, stooping, bending, crouching, and kneeling is required. Being on one’s feet for long periods of time is required. Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds is required. Frequent turning, pushing, and pulling is required. Dexterity to use and manipulate hand tools, farm equipment, and crops is required. Vision, focus, and cognitive ability to accomplish the functions above is required.
