• Work will be performed in shifts from Monday-Sunday from 6:00am-6:00pm and 6:00pm-6:00am, with paid lunch. Employer may request, but not require, workers to work more than the stated daily hours and/or on a worker's Sabbath or federal holidays. Hours may fluctuate due to weather conditions or mechanical breakdowns but will not reduce the 3/4 guarantee over the life of the contract.
• Duties include passenger pick-up and drop off between housing and worksite using a passenger bus and/or passenger van. Coordinate vehicle movements for passenger pick-up and drop-off. Perform all work associated with the responsibility of driving. May include performing basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, or radiator fluid, and cleaning vehicles. May also include transporting workers to stores where they can purchase goods and groceries and run local errands.
• Safety procedures must be followed. Vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles must be reported immediately. Persons seeking employment in this position must be available for the entire period requested by the employer. Must be 18 or older. A Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent Federal de Conductor is required. All tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned are provided to the worker, without charge or deposit. Work is done in all kinds of weather from extreme heat to extreme cold. Allergies to ragweed, goldenrod, honeybees, insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, or related chemicals may affect a worker's ability to perform the job.
