The crops on which workers will work are vegetables, including lettuce, spinach, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, and onions. Workers will: prepare for and assist with harvesting activities; clean equipment or facilities; clean work areas and maintain grounds; and other tasks and duties under SOC Code 45-2092. Related duties may be assigned. Work is performed outdoors in highly varied weather conditions. Frequent walking, stooping, bending, crouching, and kneeling is required. Being on one’s feet for long periods of time is required. Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds is required. Frequent turning, pushing, and pulling is required. Dexterity to use and manipulate hand tools, farm equipment, and crops is required. Vision, focus, and cognitive ability to accomplish the functions above is required.
