Workers will be working in the packing facilities where each worker will have a duty on the packing line. Duties can consist of stacking boxes; unloading the berries into the line; sorting out debris and bad fruit; clean up and wash down equipment; recording weights and labels; and palletizing. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: clean work areas; hand pick and manually grade crops; load and unload materials and commodities; operate self propelled machinery; participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; position boxes/bags at ends of machinery to catch products, remove and close full containers; record information about crops; weigh containers and record weights and identifying information. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: forklift, packaging equipment. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: fruit. In the beginning of the season when there is not much work in the warehouse, the Employees can go outside and rake blueberries.
