Atividades e descrição
- Duties may include: Tending to shellfish during every phase of it's life (from baby Spat to market size). Worker will handle animals delicately. Must be comfortable lifting heavy amounts on sometimes uneven ground, work hours may vary based on tides. Workers may transport small tools or equipment between the shop and farm as part of normal operations. Use of boats, fork lift, grinders, drills and hydraulics, & other related Shellfish Farm Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work. The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate.
