Range Herder

Position is on a large, remote ranch location and requires that employee lives on site and on call for up to 24 hours per day, 7 days per week and will spend the majority of the workdays in the herding or production of livestock on the range. Employee will perform daily general husbandry of livestock and natural resources including feeding, transporting and administering medical care to sick animals, monitoring of water and fencing for livestock, performing needed repairs on pipelines, pumps and fences.
Must be able to saddle, ride and shoe horses and sensibly handle and attend to livestock.
Must be able to operate motor vehicle, equipment and machinery.
All required tools and equipment will be provided to perform duties.
Mobile phone will be provided free of charge. In cases of signal outage, personal contact with the worker will be made daily.
