Duties and description

Original English description
  • The employer is seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to perform farm labor and nursery work. Duties include moving and spacing container plants of various sizes, setting down container plants of various sizes, weeding, herbicide application, consolidating container plants of various sizes, cleaning plant rows and bed, laying down ground cover, pruning plants and trees, planting whether at a work station or on potting machines, cutting bamboo and staking plant material, loading and unloading of plant material for customers, taking cuttings of various plant material, filling cell trays for propagation, and other general farm labor activities that one would expect to occur on a working farm. Workers should follow safety and farm instructions. This job will be done under varying extreme outdoor weather conditions such as heat, high humidity, direct sunlight, cold weather, possible rain, wind, and exposure to pollen, soil, mud, dust and other natural elements. Repetitive physical conditions such as prolonged walking, standing, heavy bending, stooping, reaching and lifting will be involved on a regular basis.
